What are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
- A degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English. German is highly valued.
- Familiarity with SAP or SuccessFactors is a plus.
Main responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- People Administration: managing employee records and ensuring accurate payroll processes.
- Payroll Management: consolidating payroll information, coordinating with the external payroll provider, handling payroll accounting, and ensuring timely payment.
- Legal Support: liaising with legal advisors, managing disciplinary procedures, optimizing contracts, and providing legal guidance to managers and People Business Partners.
- Administrative Tasks: managing legal declarations, DUE processes, contracts, and related documentation.
- Employee Communication: explaining payroll details to employees, addressing corrections in the system when needed, and serving as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
- Reporting: creating detailed payroll reports to provide insights and track compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: maintaining effective communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Legal Compliance: ensuring adherence to current labor laws and regulations.
